Sharing my Kodak Portra 400 film sample photos today!

What is Kodak Portra 400 film?

Kodak Portra is a highly regarded film known for accurate colour reproduction and fine grain quality. It's available in different ISO options and is a versatile choice for shooting in different lighting conditions.

My Kodak Portra 400 film samples

I took a roll of Kodak Portra 400 film with me on a recent trip to Miami and was glad that I did. I love the colour reproduction of this film. It captured the blue sky and water beautifully, as well the colourful graffiti art at the Wynwood Walls. This film has a very elevated and clean look to it. It was definitely a contrast to the Psych Blues film that I also used on the trip to Miami!

The following photos were captured on my Olympus OM1 camera with the Zuiko 50mm f1.8 lens.

Beautiful blue sky and ocean
Skin tone looks amazing with this film
There should be more pink buildings

Some of my favourite photos taken with the Kodak Portra 400 were these palm tree silhouettes against the pink sunset sky.  So pretty!

And finally, some shots from the Wynwood Walls area. The murals look beautiful.

Final thought

I think Kodak Portra 400 is a good film choice for street photography and vacation shots, but I want to get another roll of this film for shooting portraits and trying more indoor shots.
